Our GABF Pro-Am entry, a Belgian-style Dark Strong
Ale, will go on tap this Saturday, Oct 4th. Join Brewmaster Jon Lang
and Homebrewer Mark Schiess at 6:30 pm to discuss and savor
Single White Friar. A double mash of grain and dark Belgian
candi sugar were utilized to achieve a very complex malt flavor and
8.2% abv. Opal whole leaf hops and a Belgian yeast strain resulted
in spicy, peppery notes. A limited run of 12 oz bottles in 4-packs
will be available for sale. |
